Day 1
Once you have reached Negombo, settle into your lodge and unwind. The calm ecosystem of this beach town will appeal to you.
Day 2
Explore the town of Negombo, making stops on the pristine beaches and church buildings with a variety of colourings. En route to Sigiriya, stop at the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, an incredible spot to witness the baby elephants receive care and love.
Day 3
Climb Sigiriya in the morning/Afternoon visit Polonnaruwa/return to Sigiriya for an overnight stay.
Day 4
Climb Sigiriya Rock, considered one of Sri Lanka's most visited visitor destinations, early in the morning. The stairs that lead to the summit, where the palace at the start stood, are guarded by using the famous massive lion paws. In the afternoon, journey to Polonnaruwa city to see the ancient remnants of the island's fascinating history.
Day 5
Once at your lodging in Kandy, visit the UNESCO-designated Dambulla cave shrine, which is 2,000 years old. Ancient artwork lines the walls and ceilings of these five caverns. After that, take an educational stroll through the Matales Spice Garden.
Day 6
Explore Kandy, a vibrant city with many places to shop. There are shops like Gems Bathiks Wood Carvings and Silk that sell a range of Sri Lankan souvenirs. Before you visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic, enjoy the night cultural show at the Peradeniya Botanical Gardens.
Day 7
As you get toward Nuwara Eliya, a hill country 1800 meters above sea stage, take inside the breathtaking perspectives of limitless emerald tea plantations. Stop alongside the manner to peer the beautiful Ramboda Falls and visit a tea manufacturing factory. When you go to the factory you will see how tea is made and you have the opportunity to purchase tea from there. Take a city excursion in Nuwara Eliya in the afternoon.
Day 8
Visit Hortain Plains, a highland region popular among hikers and Sri Lanka's only World Heritage Site. Explore the principal attractions, including Worlds End and Bakers Falls.
Day 9
This morning, board a picturesque train going for Ella, which offers panoramic views of tea plantations, waterfalls, reservoirs, and endless tunnels.
Day 10
You can take a Jeep Safari at Yala National Park, which has turned out to be the most visited park in recent years. See Sri Lankan leopards and Asian elephants roaming freely.
Days 11-13
Discover Galle's remarkable Dutch Fort this morning. It's known as Asia's best-preserved colonial sea fort. One of the historical sites in the stronghold seems to be the island's oldest breadfruit tree. Take advantage of the chance to see the wetland environs more clearly by going on a Madhu River Boat excursion. In an attempt to save the turtles that face extinction, the following day's activities include a visit to a turtle farm. Make memories with your loved ones as you stroll along the sandy Galle beach. Enjoy fascinating water sports activities in the Bentota River on your final day in Galle.
Day 14
You will be transported back on your last day in Sri Lanka. If time permits, stop at Colombo on the way and have a city tour.
